Nintendo deals major blow to Switch hackers with latest firmware update
As usual, there's always more to Nintendo's firmware updates than what they share in the patch notes. That's the case for the recent Version 6.2.0 update. Turns out the firmware fixes a critical hardware flaw, and now prevents both homebrew users and pirates from accessing their tools. This firmware also patches out a method used by hackers to discover new games on the eShop.
