UK - Jan. 2019 software sales, Switch physical releases beat out Xbox One for the first time

We have the top 10 best-sellers for software in the UK for Jan. 2019, and as you can see, there's some good Nintendo representation on the list. New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe took the No. 4 spot for the month, and sales were up 17% compared to launch sales New Super Mario Bros. U.

There's an even more interesting tidbit to point out with Switch. Back in Jan. 2018, the Switch represented 13.1% of all physical games sold in the UK. For Jan. 2019, Switch accounted for 28.1%. This is the very first time in the UK that Switch sold more physical titles monthly than the Xbox One. In terms of value, the Switch has been doing better than the Xbox One for six out of the past nine months.
