Nintendo says Switch seeing release in China will not happen soon
Prepare for a major stock drop
The other day, Nintendo's stock went soaring when rumblings of a Switch release in China cropped up. Various government document filings showed Nintendo teaming with Tencent to bring the Switch over, but neither company had commented publicly. While Nintendo still isn't talking about those specifics, president Shuntaro Furukawa states that the Switch releasing in China is nothing something that will happen soon, which is why it's not included in their most recent round of forecasts.
