The official Japanese Twitter account for Super Monkey Ball has published a tweet that compares the old character art with the new for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD. As you can see, AiAi is looking pretty spruced up compared to his Wii appearance. I'd say the fresh coat of paint has him ready for the HD era!
