Nintendo the most-seen gaming industry brand on TV for March 2020

Animal Crossing dominates the airwaves

The TV ad spend results for March 2020 are in, and Nintendo takes the top spot once again. The Big N spent an estimated $14.6 million on commercials, which is $3 million more than February 2020. Also worth pointing out, Nintendo is the only gaming brand to spend over $1 million in March.

Nintendo ran 20 ads over 3,000 times, generating 793 million TV ad impressions. The spot with the biggest spend, coming in at $2.6 million, was “Animal Crossing: New Horizons — Your Personal Island Paradise.” Nintendo spend the most airing these ads on Nickelodeon, Adult Swim, and NBC, and the top shows Nintendo had their spots running on were SpongeBob SquarePants, This Is Us, and The Loud House.
