Nintendo's latest run of Switch/Switch Lite production lower than expected

While many were expecting a bit of Switch stock relief from the upcoming manufacturing round, it looks like the situation might remain tight for quite some time. A report from NHK states that the production run for Switch and Switch Lite is lower than expected.

Furthermore, Nintendo said that the next round of units will be made available mostly on retailer websites. This is being done in order to keep customers safe from the coronavirus, allowing them to avoid in-person interactions to make their purchase.
