Minecraft "Caves and Cliffs" update coming in Summer 2021

Mojang has announced that Minecraft is getting a "Caves and Cliffs" update in Summer 2021. You can check out a rundown of what this update includes below.

- adds more spectacular mountain generation
- snow traps
- goats
- lush caves
- dripstone caves
- amethyst geodes
- different blocks including the Sculk Sensor, a block that emits a redstone signal
- stalactite and stalagmite blocks that are "spiky blocks with different mechanics"
- new copper ore to find, which can be used to craft a lightning rod block
- crystal geodes can be used to craft a telescope
- Warden, a "hostile mob well adapted to the dark caves it lives in thanks to its ability to react on movement instead of what it sees"
- Axolotl, "an adorable cave-dwelling water creature that can aid in battle"
- amethyst crystal grow from a very special block, and you can't take it with you
- ore veins are being added
- copper blocks you place will eventually turn from orange to green
- you'll be able to make item bundles, which groups together a bunch of different items into a sack that you can store
- archaeological excavations can be done, and you can use a brush to clear away rubble to find goodies
