Pokemon Sword and Shield become the first Pokemon games since Gold and Silver to break 20 million units sold

Pokemon Sword and Shield have been welcomed by millions upon millions of fans around the world, leading to quite the milestone for the titles.
Nintendo's recent financial report revealed that Pokemon Sword and Shield sold another 1.3 million units in the last 3 months, pushing the overall total to 20.35 million units worldwide. That makes Sword and Shield the first Pokemon games to cross the 20 million mark since Gold and Silver all the way back in 1999!
