Pokemon Trading Card Game cards have been pulling in some major bank in recent months, with collections making tens of thousands off of single cards, collections, and more. It seems the auction fever is only climbing, as a new record has been set for a single Pokemon card.

This month, a PSA-graded mint-9-rated Pikachu Illustrator card went up for auction, and it managed to land a final bid of a staggering 25,000,000 yen ($233,578.75). This gives the card the new record for most expensive Pokemon card auction, with the previous record-holder being a Pikachu Illustrator card that brought in $190k back in 2019.
