Bayonetta 3 gameplay video highlights new protagonist, Viola

Game Informer is continuing with their blowout of Bayonetta 3 content. In their latest video, they showcase a section of gameplay featuring Viola, the game’s brand new protagonist. Players will be able to take control of Viola at various points of the game and make use of her specialized moves and attack style.

Viola apparently has a slightly slower, more deliberate style of attacking than Bayonetta does. She also has a special demon friend named Cheshire who she can send out in battle, and a completely different way of triggering Witch Time. Watch the video above for a look at exactly what makes Viola unique, plus some of Bayonetta 3’s new locations and enemies. Bayonetta 3 will be available on Switch October 28, 2022.
