Earlier this week, Nintendo announced that a whole new catalog of content is coming to Splatoon 3. Starting on Dec. 1, all Splatoon 3 players with an active Nintendo Switch Online membership will have access to the new “Chill Season 2022” content, which includes weapons and stages, new gear and victory emotes, and game modes. Today gives us a detailed look at a weapon and new competitive mode that are part of Chill Season 2022.
The big reveal of today is the Snipewriter 5H, a new type of charger weapon which can hold up to five shots. We also got a reminder about the upcoming X Battles mode for competitive ranked players, which will put players into one of two divisions depending on their location.
