Last year, Feral Interactive announced that they would be bringing two Tomb Raider spin-off titles to the Switch in 2022: Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. Well, 2022 is just about over and neither game has appeared on the system. Now, the developer has confirmed through a Twitter Q+A that both games have been pushed into 2023.

Feral was also asked if the games would receive a physical release, and they replied that they would “consider it” but gave no confirmation. They also promised more news in the new year. Both games will be a welcome addition to the Switch library. Hopefully, we don’t have to wait too far into 2023 to get them!

Finally, a quick note at the end, it’s been confirmed that the Tomb Raider franchise in general has shifted over 95 million units since launch. That includes all games across every platform, so there’s definitely some Nintendo contributions in there!
