Famitsu shares their top 20 games of 2022
These games are all winners
Renowned Japanese video game magazine Famitsu has shared their list of the top 20 games of 2022 in their latest issue. This list was compiled based on the votes of numerous Japanese game critics, as well as game developers and celebrities.
Of course, some big Nintendo games made the list, including Splatoon 3, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Also featured are multiplatform Switch titles such as Cult of the Lamb and Tactics Ogre: Reborn. See the full list below!

5M agoWow! I'm surprised Famitsu picked Elden Ring over Splatoon 3. Only because it's Japan. But if you look at the top 20, almost half are Western developed games. It's one thing for Famitsu to choose these, the buying public wouldn't have the same opinion. Just look at the Famitsu Most Wanted list. They're slowly, and I mean very slowly, changing and coming to appreciate Western developed games.
