Speedrunner beats Zelda: Breath of the Wild 50 times in one day

You’ve probably beaten The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild by now. You may have even beaten it 50 times since its release. But it’s a safe bet that only speedrunner Player 5 has beaten the game 50 times in a single 24 hour period.

Player 5 previously set the record for completing the game in 25 minutes and 23 seconds. As a follow-up, he set out to play through the game multiple times in a row while streaming it on his Twitch channel. Each run lasted around 25 minutes, with the shortest lasting just 24 minutes and 16 seconds. In total, he was able to beat the game 50 times in just around 22 and a half hours.

That kind of gaming takes serious commitment and perseverance! We’ll have to see how Player 5 manages with Tears of the Kingdom when it releases this May.
