Spike Chunsoft uploaded a gameplay trailer for AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES - nirvanA Initiative. According to Spike Chunsoft, the video highlights some new gameplay features:

This gameplay trailer introduces the game system which consists of two parts, “Investigation” and “Somnium”. The “Investigation” part takes place in the real world. Here players will examine crime scenes and listen to testimonies. In the “Somnium” part, players enter the dream worlds of suspects and key witnesses.

It looks like they kept the time limit for the Somnium parts which is a bummer.
I wanted to experiment more with stuff in the first part but having to restart the Somnium sequences over and over again got on my nerves rather quickly.
