RUMOR: First-person mode could be coming in Fortnite's next season

Fortnite has never been shy about adding new modes, but so far none of those modes have come with any change in perspective. That could be changing in the near future, as a number of Fortnite dataminers have reported on a first-person mode coming to the game’s next season.
According to dataminer Hypex, this mode will be launching as part of the next Fortnite season. The mode will be “most likely an optional setting” that players can opt into if they choose. Hypex reportedly heard the news from a “reliable source”, and also cites Fortnite community members ShiinaBR, GMatrixGames, and iFireMonkey as receiving similar confirmation of this addition.
As of now, there’s been no official confirmation on this mode one way or the other from Epic Games. Whether or not the rumor is true, we won’t have to wait long to find out. Fortnite’s next season should begin on Thursday, March 9, 2023.
