“Sandshrew Park” announced for Japan's Tottori prefecture

Chansey, Geodude, and Slowpoke have already had their time in the spotlight - Now it’s Sandshrew’s turn to get a public playground in Japan! “Sandshrew Park” has been officially announced, and will debut in Japan’s Tottori prefecture in May 2023. It will be part of Chubu Tottori Sand Dunes Children’s Park.

You can get a look at what the park will be like via the concept art above. It includes slides, swings, and of course, a sandbox, all modeled after the Pokémon Sandshrew (and its Alolan counterpart). See below for the official announcement video, which features… Sandshrew!
