A new update has been announced and detailed for Guardian Tales on Nintendo Switch. This is Patch 27 and it will be available on April 3, 2023 in North America. It includes a new nightmare difficulty mode, some new equipment, and more. See below for the full patch notes.

- Nightmare World 9 : ‘Rah Empire’ will be added.
- Beginner missions related to Nightmare World 9 will be added.

- Arena Season 13 will progress for the following period. (3 times per day)
- 04/02 04:00 ~ 04/08 11:59 (PST)
- Shop
Purple Coin items for Nightmare difficulty for World 9 will be added to the Shop.
