MLB The Show 22 Gets a New Commentary Team
New game, new console, new commentary!
Believe it or not, MLB The Show 22 is coming to Nintendo Switch for the first time on April 5th. This means that the Playstation Blog reporting that the game will have a brand new commentary duo is officially Nintendo related news!
MLB broadcasters Jon “Boog” Sciambi and Chris Singleton will be utilizing a brand new commentary system in the game. Apparently putting all that audio together took a total of 350 recording hours, resulting in around 45,000 lines of dialogue. That’s a lot of audio! Supposedly, this new system will enable a more organic, natural style of commentary, complete with conversational banter.
