Google's Katamari Damacy Easter egg lets you roll up search results

Katamari Damacy is having a bit of a moment right now with the recent release of We Love Katamari REROLL+ Royal Reverie. Now, Google has joined in the celebration with a newly discovered Easter egg related to the series.

Currently, if you search for “katamari” or other variants of the game’s title on Google, a little bouncing katamari ball will appear on the right-hand side of the page. If you click it, it will become active, and you’ll be able to roll it around your screen using your keyboard’s arrow keys, rolling up all the search results as you do! This also works on mobile devices, so feel free to try it on your phone!

This isn’t the first time Google has implemented a gaming related Easter egg, as one inspired by Splatoon appeared last October. Head over to Google and try it for yourself, or check the tweet below to see it in action.
