The Witcher's Ciri and Nier: Automata's 9S getting new figures
Wouldn't they look nice on a shelf together?
Get ready, collectors! A couple of new figures have been announced based on characters from two different gaming franchises: 9S from Nier Automata and Ciri from The Witcher. See below for all the images and details.
The 9S figure comes courtesy of Bandai’s Tamashii Nations as part of their SH Figuarts line. It’s a little under 6 inches tall, fully poseable, and includes accessories like Pod 153, the Cruel Oath Sword, hand and face parts, and even a removable mask.
This figure will cost 8,000 Yen (about $55 USD). Pre-orders go up for it on September 1st, 2023, which you’ll be able to find on the Tamashii Nations Amazon page.
This figure of Ciri from The Witcher is part of the Bishoujo line from Kotobukiya. It’s a more anime style version of the character, measuring about 9 inches tall. Ciri comes with an acrylic stand an exclusive illustration by Shunya Yamashita.
This figure costs 22,000 Yen (about $150 USD), and you can visit the official online store for more details. Pre-orders run until October 3rd, 2023, with a March 2024 release window for Japan.
