13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim has sold 1,000,000 copies across all platforms

VanillaWare's surprise success continues to find new fans

Developer Vanillaware and publisher Altlus have announced that 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, their 2019-released 2D side-scrolling adventure game, has sold 1,000,000 total copies worldwide across all platforms. It’s unknown exactly how many of those sales are for the Nintendo Switch port that launched in April 2022. Over 40,000 Switch copies have previously been confirmed to be sold in Japan.
