River City: Rival Showdown has been confirmed for a worldwide October 12th, 2023 Switch release by developer APlus Games and publisher Arc System Works via a new ‘Game Introduction’ trailer. You can watch it above to get nearly 5 minutes of information about the upcoming action game.

The game was originally released for the Nintendo 3DS back in 2016. This re-release will feature the new additional fighting game mode ‘Double Dragon Duel 2023’.
