Respawn Entertainment has announced that they’ll be adding cross-platform support to Apex Legends across all versions of the game. This means that players will be able to play online with each other whether they’re playing on Switch, or any other systems. The change will begin to take effect on October 31st, 2023, when it will begin rolling out to players gradually.

Anyone who plays Apex Legends on multiple systems using multiple accounts currently will be required to merge those accounts once the change takes effect. In this case, your account with the highest level will become your “primary account”. All cosmetics, currency, and progression will be maintained across platforms, with some exceptions such as console exclusive rewards.
