Mortal Kombat 1 dev asks fans what online features they'd like to see added

Mortal Kombat 1 was released on Switch a couple months ago, but the dev team is continuing to work on new features. In fact, director Ed Boon has taken to Twitter to ask his followers what they’d like to see next, specifically in regards to online functionality. You can see his informal poll below:

With over 55,000 votes and just a few hours of voting time left, crossplay multiplayer is by far the most requested feature from amongst Boon’s listed choices, with over 75% of the total vote. It looks like most players are definitely eager to face off against online opponents regardless of what version they’re playing.

Whether or not this poll will lead to anything concrete, or how long it will take to be implemented into the game is impossible to say, but it’s an encouraging sign. Hopefully, the Mortal Kombat 1 devs take the player feedback to heart!
