Way back in 2002, Wizards of the Coast held a contest in which participants could submit their own design for a Snorlax card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The winner of that contest was Craig Turvey, and his art was actually produced as a playable promo card! However, the other randomly selected finalists’ entries were never shown to the public… until now.

As revealed by Turvey in an interview with Johto Times, and shared by Video Games Chronicle, the other finalists all had different ideas of what the Snorlax card should look like. Turvey’s adorable sleeping Snorlax with an Eevee took the prize, but the other entries are no less “awwww” worthy. You can take a look at all twenty of them in the image above.
