Mortal Kombat 1 gives first look at Quan Chi, teases more for CCXP in Brazil

Mortal Kombat 1 director Ed Boon has shared the first look at upcoming fighter Quan Chi on Twitter. Quan Chi was previously announced as DLC, and now we’ve got our first glimpse of his updated look. It’s a brief clip featuring the fighter locked in combat with Shang Tsung, who quips that he hoped their “alliance” would be more “deadly”. Check it out for yourself below.

Boon also implies that a more in-depth reveal will be made available at CCXP 2023, a Comic-Con event being held in Brazil next week. He has a panel scheduled there for Sunday, December 3rd, so we won’t have to wait very long to learn more.

We don’t know whether Quan Chi will be made available then, or if he’ll come at a later date. It’s been previously stated that he’ll be available as DLC sometime in Winter 2023 or 2024. Stay tuned for more details.
