Dev reveals inspirations behind Lorelei and the Laser Eyes
Influenced by some of the best
Lorelei and the Laser Eyes is an original adventure puzzle game coming to Nintendo Switch sometime in the future. We don’t have any new info about the game itself, but there’s a chance you’ll be interested in some of its influences. The game’s developer, Simogo, shared an image on Twitter featuring some of the films, games, and other media that inspired the team while working.
As you can see, there are some gaming influences relevant to Nintendo here. Screenshots include Link’s Awakening, Professor Layton, Resident Evil, and even Another Code. If you’re a fan of one or more of these games, you might want to keep an eye out for Lorelei and the Laser Eyes!
Simogo also notes that they’re currently working on translating the game into 10 different languages, and that it should “not be too long now” before it’s done. Stay tuned for more info and a firm release date.
