Nintendo Switch Online app no longer compatible with devices running iOS 14 or lower

The Nintendo Switch Online app recently received an update which changes who may have access to it. According to the latest update details, the app will require iOS devices to be running iOS 15 or later going forward. Most likely, it won’t be available at all to download on prior versions.

As of now, the latest iOS software version is 17.3.1. The iOS 14 release was the primary version from September 2020 to September 2021. This change probably won’t affect most people with up to date iPhones, but if you’re using a model with an older version, the NSO app may no longer work for you. Check your settings to be sure whether or not this will change anything for your use.
