HAMSTER’S Arcade Archives series has been resurrecting classic arcade titles on the Nintendo Switch for seven years as of today. Just this past January, they reached a milestone of 400 games released in total, and they show no signs of slowing down. They shared a new image on Twitter to commemorate reaching this point:

In their celebratory tweet, HAMSTER also acknowledges their Guinness World Record for the most consecutive weeks of game releases. For 366 consecutive weeks, they have launched a brand new arcade classic title on the Switch. That’s an impressive feat to be sure!

According to the HAMSTER president Satoshi Hamada, there are around 800 arcade titles they hope to add to the collection, which means they’re just over halfway to their final goal. We’ll see if they can keep this release streak going, or even if it carries on to another console in the future!
