Nintendo Switch Sports sales data wasn’t made available in Nintendo’s most recent fiscal report, as the game launched after the end of Nintendo’s last fiscal year. That said, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa was willing to share an update during an investor Q&A session.

According to Furukawa, Nintendo Switch Sports is off to an ‘extremely strong start in all regions.’ In Japan, players of all ages are checking the game out, while those in North America and Europe playing the game are mostly in their mid-20s, and they used to play Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort.

Finally, Furukawa pledged once again to support Nintendo Switch Sports for a long time, with content planned throughout the year.
