Ubisoft recently challenged players of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown to reach the ‘Pit of Eternal Sands’ area as fast as they could without using any glitches. One speedrunner who goes by iden managed to complete that challenge in just around 30 minutes. To celebrate the achievement, IGN gathered The Lost Crown developers Steve Alves (animator), Mounir Radi (director), and Antonin Fouquet (QA Analyst). Together, they watch the speedrun for themselves and comment on it as it goes. Check out the full video above to see how it goes!

When Prince of Persia, The Lost Crown launched in mid-January, there was a speedrun challenge that pitted talented speedrunners against each other. The challenge required the use of no major glitches and the speedrun ended when the player dropped into the Pit of Eternal Sands, which is after the first four main quests. Because of this, this video doesn’t feature the full speedrun of the game, but instead a top submission in this challenge. So ride along as three key members of the Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown team watch and react to a speedrun of their game!
