Sakurai, Metroid & Monster Hunter Win Famitsu Awards

The Famitsu/Dengeki Game Award 2021 winners were just announced, and Nintendo fans have some things to be proud of!

Masahiro Sakurai (of Super Smash Bros. fame) went home with the award for Most Valuable Creator. Other nominees included entire development teams for games like Resident Evil Village! So that should show you just how valuable Sakurai is.

Meanwhile, Monster Hunter Rise won Game of the Year and Best Action Game, and Metroid Dread won Best Action/Adventure Game. Some other Nintendo Switch titles made appearances as well, including Hades, winning Best Indie Game.
