Super Nintendo World is still months away from its 2023 opening at Universal Studios Hollywood, but that hasn’t stopped us from checking in on its progress every step of the way. A new set of photos courtesy of WDW News Today demonstrates just how close the park is to being finished with construction. Scroll through the image gallery below for a look at the nearly finished Bowser’s Castle, as well as the surrounding areas.

The highlight of these pics has got to be the facade of Bowser’s Castle, which is looking like it’s almost ready to go, although it’s still surrounded by scaffolding. Bowser’s Castle is also where the premiere Mario Kart ride is going to be located, so they’re no doubt working hard to get it in good shape. Look real close and you can also catch a glimpse of some wrapped up Piranha Plants and additional spots for clouds and other future decorations. Which area are you most excited to explore?
