Monster Rancher commemorates its 25th anniversary with celebratory art

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the original 1997 game Monster Rancher (or Monster Farm as it’s known in Japan). Originally released on the Playstation, the first Monster Rancher is now available on multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch. The next entry in the series, Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher, is also set for release on Switch sometime in 2022.

Monster Rancher’s official Japanese Twitter account has shared the above artwork, featuring the character Holly saying thank you and wishing Monster Rancher a happy 25th anniversary. Feel free to celebrate the day by singing a birthday song, and playing some Monster Rancher games!
