Check out this demonstration of gyro aiming in Resident Evil Village's Cloud version

Today’s Nintendo Direct showed off a handful of upcoming Cloud releases from the Resident Evil series, and the first one heading to Nintendo Switch is the franchise’s newest title: Resident Evil Village.

The full version of the game will be releasing on October 18th, 2022. In the meantime, a demo for the Cloud version of the game is available to download and play right now.

One feature worth trying out is the game’s gyro aiming controls. The Switch is no stranger to gyro aiming, with some of the platform’s biggest titles taking heavy advantage of it.

Of course, to really get a feel for the gyro aiming, it’d be best to try the newly released demo for yourself! But if you’re not able to jump in just yet, GameXplain has released a video going over Village’s gyro controls, describing how they feel and various quirks to keep an eye out for.
