Famitsu Top 30 software sales - September 5th to September 11th, 2022

Splatoon 3 sells 153 times more than second place!

Famitsu has released its estimated weekly sales charts for physical game software sales in Japan. This week’s list sees Splatoon 3 splashing onto the scene with an inkredible first place launch, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe waving the checkered flag in second place, Minecraft for Nintendo Switch breaking into third, and much more.

Splatoon 3, the top-selling title of this week, sold over 153 times as many copies as the second-place spot.

Nintendo Switch games overall took nine of the top ten spots, and 22 of the top 30 compared to their 21 slots last week.
