Japanese software/hardware sales for Dec. 5th to Dec. 11th, 2022 (Top 30 added)

Wondering how the Switch held up in Japan this week? Switch titles impressively made up 9 of the top 10 best-selling software list. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet continues on with its extraordinarily exceptional sales for the fourth week in a row, selling over 277k more copies. Dragon Quest Treasures made its debut as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, placing in second with 143k copies sold. Splatoon 3 follows right behind. Lastly, another Switch title to debut in the top 10 is Witch on the Holy Night, which sold over 39k copies, earning it fourth place on the charts, just above the PlayStation 4 version.

As for hardware, the Switch maintained its top spot with the OLED model, selling 102,962 more units. This is followed by the standard Switch in second (30,608), with the Switch Lite in third (24,536).
