Wondering how the Switch held up in Japan this week? Switch titles made up 8 of the top 10 best-selling software list. Splatoon 3 continues on with its extraordinarily exceptional sales for the third week in a row, selling over 301k more copies. Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival from publisher Bandai Namco made its debut in second place. Another game to make a debut this week was The DioField Chronicle from publisher Square Enix, landing itself an eighth place position, just behind Nintendo Switch Sports.

As for hardware, the Switch maintained its top spot with the OLED model, selling 55,646 more units. This is followed by the standard Switch in second (26,944), with the Switch Lite in fifth (3,982), surpassed by Sony’s PlayStation 5 and Microsoft’s Xbox Series X.
