Animal Crossing: New Horizons glitch can result in a naked Bob

Nintendo is known for incredibly family-friendly franchises, and Animal Crossing may be sitting at the top. It’s one of those games you can let your kids play without worry of them seeing anything less than savory. That is, of course, until you get a glitch that results in a naked Bob.

First up, a little trivia about Bob himself to set the scene. Did you know that Bob was the very first amiibo villager card created? That’s because Bob himself is also the first villager in general! That’s quite an honor for Bob, but it also seems to be the cause of this odd glitch.

Whenever someone scans in an amiibo card for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, there’s a chance something could go wrong. If things go extra wrong, the result could be what you see above. Bob will show up on screen with nothing but a smile and his birthday suit. This likely has to do with the game screwing up and not knowing what to display, so it defaults to the first villager in his purist form.
