Nintendo Direct: The Super Mario Bros. Movie presentation airs on October 6th, first official poster shared
It's finally almost time...
Nintendo and Illumination have announced that the Super Mario Bros. animated theatrical film will have a dedicated Nintendo Direct presentation to showcase information regarding the project. It will air live via Nintendo’s social channels on October 6th, 2022 at 1:05 p.m. PT, and will feature the first official teaser trailer for the movie.
As for today , we received out first look at the film’s art-style thanks to a brand new movie poster! Check out the poster below, along with a piece of art from the official Japanese website that’s slightly different.

I'm sure there are Youtube channels that are scouring this one picture for details, like Mario's clothing wrinkles and the contents of that antique store. There's tons of material in this one picture.
And I think the poster bodes well for the movie. They're not putting a wild spin on the Mario World, just enhancing it. Now just make sure the story isn't awful.
My one concern is how anybody gets up to the Princess' castle without climbing gear.

12M agoI hope their "one last thing" before the Direct ends will be a teaser for the new 2D Mariogame.
Unfortunately, according to Nintendo, "no game information will be featured."
