Actor behind Mortal Kombat's Jax strongly hints at the character's return in the movie sequel

Mehcad Brooks is the actor behind Jax in the 2021 Mortal Kombat movie, and that film did well enough to greenlight a sequel pretty much right out of the gate. While we don’t know too much about the sequel, a new interview with Brooks strongly hints at the return of Jax.
In an interview with Screen Rant, Brooks gave an update on where the sequel’s at. While specific details couldn’t be shared and a 100% confirmation of Jax’s return had to be tiptoed around, it certainly seems like the fan-favorite character will be back in action.
I’ve heard some pretty exciting updates. Nothing I can get into in great detail at this very moment, but expect to see Jax back, new and improved and with these motherf—–s working.
Hopefully we get a more substantial update on the Mortal Kombat movie sequel in the near future, as there’s a lot fans want to know. With the 30th anniversary of Mortal Kombat taking place on October 8th, 2022, now seems like the perfect time to share some early details.
