Incorrect version of Prodeus yanked from the Switch eShop

Did you snag this before it disappeared?

Every once in awhile, we see a pretty big screw-up with Switch game releases on the digital side of things. For whatever reason, an incorrect version of a game gets pushed live, and the developer/publisher scramble to have it taken down. That’s exactly what just happened with Prodeus.

The Prodeus team has revealed that the wrong version of Prodeus was accidentally made available on the Switch eShop. This was the unpatched version of the game, and it still contained a number of bugs. While some people managed to snag the game while it was live, that version has now been taken down.

If you didn’t pick up Prodeus during that short amount of time, you’ll have to wait to purchase the game when the correct version makes its eShop debut. There’s no specific date for that happening, but it should be soon. If you did manage to buy the unpatched version of the game, your save will work in the correct version when that lauches.
