A double dose of Mario
Nintendo has been running the ‘Switch My Way’ commercial series for years now, and it seems to be working for them. Time and time again, we see Nintendo turn to this style of commercial to promote both Switch games old and new. Now, as we head into the holiday season, Nintendo has cooked up two more spots to spread the word on select Switch titles.
First up is a new ad for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Sure, this game may be 5 years old now (or older if you’re counting the Wii U release!), but it just keeps selling like crazy, and continuously finds itself in the top 10 software sales every month. That’s why Nintendo is keen to keep spreading the word with new commercials, one of which you can see above.
Along with that is a ‘Switch My Way’ commercial for Mario Strikers: Battle League. While not exactly a ‘new’ Switch game, it’s certainly much more recent than Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Nintendo is clearly looking to drum up some more attention for the title this holiday, and you can see their latest efforts below.
