Cub Scout pack leader Shaun Tanner has reported on Facebook that Nintendo of America has congratulated his troop for achieving the arrow of light patch. All 6 scouts received a letter on official Nintendo letters and signed by NOA President Doug Bowser himself!

Why did Nintendo feel the need to respond to this achievement? Well, Shaun Tanner explains that their recent Blue and Gold Banquet was electronic themed. For those unaware, the Blue and Gold Banquet is the celebration of the founding of the BSA so it’s a very important event.

When Tanner was organizing the Banquet he thought it’d be fitting to have Nintendo themselves write letters for each of the honorees. While the letters we’re not ready in time for the ceremony they thankfully eventually got into scouts hands complete with complimentary bookmarks. You can read the letter in the link below.

Thanks to Tim for the heads up!
