UPDATE: The fix discussed below is slowly making its way out to Switch users. You can see the full note from Gameloft on this update below.

We’re happy to report that the PC, Xbox and PlayStation fix has been successfully deployed to all players on these platforms. Even better, we’re seeing that Switch players are also beginning to see the fix working its magic!

Rollout of the fix is being done player-by-player and will continue through the day and into tomorrow due to the incredible number of players on Switch. If you’re on Switch and have run into the issue, we encourage you to try booting up your game to see if you’ve received it yet.

Once again, we really appreciate your patience as we’ve worked to resolve this issue! If you’re still waiting on the Switch fix, please know it’s on the way. More updates will come soon about the in-game compensation for all players and when to expect it.

ORIGINAL POST: Following yesterday’s update to Disney Dreamlight Valley, it appears that some new loading issues have been introduced. Thankfully, a fix is on the way later today, but there’s also a workaround for the issue.

While you wait for today’s patch to arrive, here’s a workaround that you can try. It’s a bit cumbersome, but hopefully it’ll help a few Switch players get back on track.

  • Launch the game on another platform
  • Install the fix
  • Open the game and Cloud Save on Switch
  • You will now be unlocked on Switch
