Today, Humble Games and developer Witch Beam celebrate the 1 year anniversary for their award-winning game, Unpacking. As part of the celebrations, the team has revealed two new announcements that they’d love to share with their incredible community.
- Over 1 million copies of Unpacking have been sold around the world.
- The “Unpacking A Life Collection” from Serenity Forge that includes Unpacking keychains, pins, shirts and more is now live.
Unpacking is a zen game about the familiar experience of pulling possessions out of boxes and fitting them into a new home. Part block-fitting puzzle, part home decoration, players are invited to create a satisfying living space while learning clues about the life they’re unpacking. Over the course of eight house moves, they are given a chance to experience a sense of intimacy with a character they never see and a story they’re never told. Since its launch, Unpacking has won 20 prestigious awards and garnered 50 award nominations.
