Dataminers find new Pokémon hiding in Pokemon GO

Dataminers are always digging into Pokémon GO to see what they can find, and this time around they’ve come up with a major discovery.

In the pic above, you can see a pixelated look at a brand-new Pokémon that’s hiding in the source code of Pokémon GO. If you don’t mind spoilers, hit the jump to have an uncensored look.

Pokémon Co. and Niantic haven’t made a peep about this Pokémon yet, but internet super-sleuths have discovered that this same Pokémon is hiding in Pokémon Scarlet/Violet as well.

Just as the tweet above says, it seems you can see this mystery Pokémon hiding behind some text in a recent Pokémon Scarlet/Violet trailer. While the Pokémon is obscured by text, we can see enough to say that it definitely looks like a match for the Pokémon discovered in Pokémon GO.

Looks like we’ll be learning a lot more about this Pokémon in the very near future! As to what they’re doing in Pokémon GO, we might have to wait a bit longer to hear that info.
