Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will link with Pokémon GO in 2023
Better together
Gimmighoul was officially revealed for Pokémon GO and Pokémon Scarlet/Violet today, but that’s not the only news about these two Pokémon games. Pokémon Co. has also revealed that Pokémon GO and Pokémon Scarlet/Violet players will be able to link up come sometime in 2023.
Linking Pokémon GO with Pokémon Scarlet/Violet will allow you to catch Gimmighoul (Roaming Form) in Pokémon GO. That said, please note that Pokémon in Pokémon GO can’t be sent directly to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Finally, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are scheduled to link with Pokémon HOME after they are released. Please wait for future announcements with more details.
