Despite it’s bumpy start, Overwatch 2 seems to have made quite the splash in the gaming market, if Blizzard’s latest reports are anything to go by. The game has managed to have 35 Million players try the game in the first month of it’s release.

Blizzard also says that the average daily player numbers for the first month were double that of the original Overwatch, which makes sense given that it was the game’s launch month.

Blizzard attributes the games success to the games new free-to-play model which attracted many players who never tried Overwatch before. Blizzard also adds that player investment is strong, but only time will tell if the player base maintains.
